“The Lord is present in the tabernacle in his divinity and his humanity. He is not there for himself, but for us….
As a result, anyone with normal thoughts and feelings
will naturally be drawn to spend time with him,
whenever possible and as much as possible.”
St Edith Stein

Community Commitments
Members of any community have shared commitments
and these help form one heart and one mind.
From this unity its spirituality blossoms.

Members of Eucharistia GLORIA are asked to pursue the following norms of life:

Attend Holy Mass
Attend Holy Mass on Sundays and one other day during the week (Preferably Thursdays in remembrance of Holy Thursday). The intention should be to frequent Holy Mass as much as possible. Members make a conscious effort to prepare properly for Holy Mass and strive whenever possible to be a witness of silent thanksgiving in the Church after Holy Mass has ended.

Holy Hour
Be committed to at least one Holy Hour during the week. Besides longer periods of prayer, every member ought to live with a conscious desire to make several visits to the tabernacle or an adoration chapel, even if brief visits. The point is to make the Eucharistic Jesus the center of one’s life as much as possible.

Mission
Have an evangelical spirit of Mission to establish Eucharistic Adoration throughout the Archdiocese and to call others to Eucharistic Adoration.

Spiritual Formation
Participate in spiritual formation classes and retreats. Classes are offered online once a month. We try to gather as a community in person for a retreat day at least 4 times a year, roughly every three months.

Works of Mercy
Be vigilant for opportunities to do spiritual and corporal works of mercy especially to the poor.

Liturgy of the Hours
We strongly encourage members to pray the Church’s Liturgy of the Hours, especially Morning and Evening prayer. The Liturgy of the Hours is seen as an extension of the Holy Mass. After the Mass there is no other prayer more efficacious for the salvation of souls than the prayer of Christ in the liturgy of the hours.

Pray the Rosary
Confraternity members strive to pray a daily rosary for the triumph of Mary’s Heart for the Eucharistic Reign of her son.

“The presence of Jesus in the tabernacle
must be a kind of magnetic pole
attracting an ever greater number of souls enamoured of him, ready to wait patiently
to hear his voice and, as it were,
to sense the beating of his heart."

"O taste and see that the Lord is good!” (Ps 34:8).
St. John Paul II
